The story of 100 Monkeys Tea:
The tea takes its name from an ancient tale about an old tea-maker and his wife, who tended to a small plot of land high in the hills. The couple was terrorized nightly by a renegade band of monkeys and, try as they might, the couple could not rid themselves of this curse. Out of desperation, the husband traveled to a distant mountain to consult a Shaman. The Shaman gave the man a piece of parchment with a recipe for a new type of tea. As instructed, the man returned home, prepared the new recipe, and left 100 pounds of tea in a wooden chest. The next morning, the chest was empty and the monkeys never returned.
Use 1 teaspoon of tea per cup of water. Bring water to a boil. Steep for 3 minutes. May be used multiple times.
